ABOUT MICHÈLE BELIN-BENHAMOU
Born in Paris, graduated from the ''Applied Arts High School ''in Paris, Michèle Belin-Benhamou has studied the techniques of lacquer with Master Paul Cressent , then the etching at '' Ecole des Beaux Arts '' in Paris.
Michèle has been working for years with a large number of architects in Israel and France , as well as with interior designers, introducing lacquer into the furniture and design of private homes:bed headboards and night stands,make up tables, bars and dining room tables .

2014 : She is invited to exhibit in Beijing at the ''International Youth Design Exhibition:The Future of Now ''.
She has been teaching the techniques of lacquer to the ''Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology'' .
2009 : Solo exhibition at the French Institute of Tel Aviv '' Du Théâtre à la laque''
2007 : Solo exhibition at Arck Galerie ,Paris (French-Japanese galerie) '' Laque et Raku''.
2002 : Exhibition at Galerie Saphir ,Paris- Dinard ''Laques de Rance ''

She has been selected for the Ishikawa Triennale consecutively in
2002,2005 ,2009 .One of her works has been purchased by the ''Ishikawa Design Center '' .

She won the Juror 's Honorable Mention ''The Kiyoshi Awazu Prize ''
Michèle Belin currently lives and works in Tel Aviv.
